Midterm Chicanery and Other Stuff

Doh. Well, I did good in my multivar. calculus exam: 19/20. However, my linear algebra exam is a whole different story altogether. 68/100. BURNED.

I'm not all too concerned though; I'll probably just skim over the material again and try to understand the concepts a little better, and then hope that I do good on both my final and my project. :p If I get at least a 2.5 GPA in that class, then I'll be good. Homework weighs at around 20% though, and I've been consistently getting 10/20's on those. Shite. :x

--

I've been getting a bit better at playing the guitar. I can finally play "Yankee Doodle" with good accuracy and tempo. ;p Strumming and switching chords, however, is hard shit. But yeah, in no time, I'll be serenading the ladies with great efficiency. :D

I still can't find a job, by the way. Shittastic, this is. My brother, however, told me that there might be a job opening in the IT department at the place he works at. But, there is a retarded rule saying that family members may not work at that same place, so I'm not sure if that's even a plausible job opening.

And dammit, there's a job recruitment hold placed I think globally on all IT departments in the UW, separate from the CAC. I can't get a job anywhere in the greater UW campus (the main UW campus is out of the question); that means areas like the Health Sciences Building won't be able to take me on. Argh.

But hey, I could always flip burgers at a nearby McDonalds. Man, I'd be getting paid the same wages anyway as quite a few of the IT position wages that I've been seeing so far.
